The top floor of MOISH mansion the whole coridor was silent,brimming with a negative aura. In the left side there was a room which was Mahika's. In her room she was sleeping but suddenly her sleep was disturbed by someone, who was none other than Mrs gill . "come on Mahika get up else you'll get late for your company" she said waking her up.
"ugg mumma I'M the Boss nothing will happen if i go late"she growled pulling the comforter over her head. " okay , i want you down in 30 minutes" she ordered pulling the comforter off. "if you'll get a minute late then you have to stay in your room for two days without your laptop , phone , ipad and you are not allowed to come out unless its the matter of filling you always empty stomach" she continues warning her and move out from her room without giving Ika a chance to ."like seriously I'm MACARIA the most unforgiving mafia in the underworld yet she doesn't care cause for her I'm her child and she can say anything to me . well that's true no one can deny this but sill. anyways i have to get ready otherwise ill have to face her warth " she said to herself going inside the washroom.
after coming out if the washroom she wore a crop beige color top and brown coat and pants. she was looking so breathtaking in this whole outfit she checked herself in the mirror once and get out of the room. she went down to the dinning area, she took a seat beside her father MR Gill in all black suit " hi dad how are you " Ika asked "I'm good you tell how are you doing nowadays"
he asked looking at he with a smile." I'm doing great infact the new project I was handling became a great success we had a big fat profit from this " she replied with a genuine small yet beautiful smile. " stop these business talk of yours you both. this is family time so discuss about family matter like this monkey's marriage" she said serving Ika and Mr. Gill their regular black coffee.
"please mom don't come up with this topic of yours. he is still young and he can't even take care of himself how will he take care of his own wife" she asserted saving Amrit from this marriage. Amrit looked at his sister with thankful eyes. she just blinked at him. "fine I'm not saying anything do whatever you want to do I'll never going to interfere in all of yours business" Mrs. Gill said taking her seat and started eating her breakfast silently. after having their breakfast they all get retired to their respective work.
MAHIKA'S POV.....
It's 11:55 and i have a meeting in 5 minutes. We are already at William's office " hey Ika how are you? "Kartik asked I rolled my eyes off at his mischievous smile." stop this and tell me is the presentation ready or do I really have to kick your ass this time" I asked warning him.
"Ohh Ika its already done and this is the best presentation we have ever made " he let out a breath. " And don't worry about this mere meting we already know we have this deal it's just formalities " he then added further. " okay then lead me the way. " I said.
We reached meeting room . I opened the door and took the seat right next to the William's seat. We waited 2 minutes to be precise and saw William entering the meeting room." sorry for being late everyone lets start the meeting" he said while having seat right IN front of the projector.
After our presentation Kartik came seated next to me and after like one more presentation everyone went silent waiting for the results.
